These measurements can deliver critical information about the performance of schools, students, and teachers. The program prepares leaders in educational research to serve in professional positions related to collecting, analyzing, and interpreting educational statistics.

The online master's in Entrepreneurship, with a major in Hospitality Entrepreneurship, focuses on entrepreneurial endeavors in hospitality – opening, building, or innovating new hospitality enterprises. A collaborative program between the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship and the Dedman College of Hospitality, the program relies heavily on the acquisition and application of skills in real-world scenarios. Entrepreneurship, MSE

The online master's in Entrepreneurship, offering majors in Social and Sustainable Enterprises or Creative Arts Entrepreneurship, assists you in developing your entrepreneurial skillset and prepares you to implement this expertise into your career. In both majors, you will develop a solid foundation in strategy formation, financing and accounting, and entrepreneurial leadership. The major in Social and Sustainable Enterprises offers specialized courses in subjects such as the supply chain, systems and design thinking, and business sustainability.

Athletic Coaching, MS

FSU's online master’s degree in Athletic Coaching has been designed by coaches for coaches. Our goal is to provide current and future coaches and sports professionals with current knowledge and best practices that are based on experience and research. We want our students to be the most knowledgeable and successful in the profession.

The Athletic Coaching program is one of seven FSU online master’s in education programs ranked No. 41 among public institutions, No. 46 among all institutions, and No. 23 in the nation for veterans by U.S. News & World Report in 2025.

Counseling & Human Systems, MS/Specialist

FSU’s online program in Counseling and Human Systems, with a major in School Counseling, prepares the next generation of counselors to serve the diverse needs of K-12 students. With particular attention given to students’ racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds, our counselors make a difference. Preservice school counselors learn to create, implement, and evaluate comprehensive school counseling programs that advance academic achievement strategies, college and career readiness, and social and emotional development.

Systems Engineering, MS

The Systems Engineering online master's is a professional degree offered 100% online with working professionals in mind. You can complete the program in a year and a half as a full-time student, or you can opt to go part-time at your own pace. Co-developed by the US Navy, the curriculum includes a total of 30 credit hours. A waiver of the GRE is available for qualified applicants, and scholarships are available for non-Florida residents. A degree in any engineering area, computer science, mathematics, or physics is preferred.
