The Systems Engineering online master's is a professional degree offered 100% online with working professionals in mind. You can complete the program in a year and a half as a full-time student, or you can opt to go part-time at your own pace. Co-developed by the US Navy, the curriculum includes a total of 30 credit hours. A waiver of the GRE is available for qualified applicants, and scholarships are available for non-Florida residents. A degree in any engineering area, computer science, mathematics, or physics is preferred.

In its 2024 list of “Best Online Graduate Programs,” U.S. News & World Report ranked FAMU-FSU’s Systems Engineering program No. 38 among public institutions, No. 49 among all institutions, and No. 30 in the nation for veterans.
