With an online graduate certificate in Public Health Epidemiology, you’ll be proficient in the training, concepts, and methods of epidemiology, with a focus on practical, applied skills. The certificate provides the foundation for promoting the health of populations and preventing disease through the study of health-related events. In addition, you’ll be prepared to analyze health outcomes and trends, assess epidemiologic public health data and program impact, and utilize public health surveillance. Note that classes in this certificate program are transferrable to the Master of Public Health program, which is certified by the Council on Education for Public Health.
