The online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree program is designed to prepare you for the highest level of clinical practice in the profession of nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Courses are offered fully online with an additional five, in-person sessions at the Tallahassee campus. On-campus sessions include an orientation to the program, an intensive weekend in the Advanced Skills for the APN course, Objective Structured Clinical Examination Assessments, and a DNP project presentation exposition. You'll work with preceptors in your local community to meet the learning objectives for the practicum courses.
