The certificate in Law Enforcement Intelligence (LEI) is designed to meet the needs of current FSU students and those working in the intelligence community. It has been designed to prepare you for career advancement and more technical and supervisory positions. This is a professional program with emphasis on law enforcement intelligence. Our purpose is to produce professional practitioners that can 1) prepare for more responsible positions, 2) encourage professionals to seek graduate education when a full degree isn't feasible, 3) prepare students for the growing field of LEI, and 4) address the lack of qualified intelligence analysts by offering those students with different undergraduate degrees a specialized graduate opportunity to explore LEI as a career.
