The Civil Engineering online master's is a professional degree for civil and environmental engineers working in the field or for recent bachelor of science graduates. You can complete the program in a year and a half as a full-time student, or you can opt to go part-time at your own pace. With a curriculum totaling 30 credit hours, or 10, three-hour courses, the MEng offers areas of specialization in Structural Engineering and Construction & Infrastructure Engineering. Scholarships for non-Florida residents are available to reduce the cost of tuition.

In its 2024 list of “Best Online Graduate Programs,” U.S. News & World Report ranked FAMU-FSU’s Civil Engineering program No. 38 among public institutions, No. 49 among all institutions, and No. 30 in the nation for veterans.
