The certificate in beverage management is designed to meet the needs of individuals interested in pursuing a career involving beverage management, with an emphasis on sales and service within the hospitality and tourism industries. The demand for qualified employees who have an understanding of beverage management is ongoing, and knowledge of the field is a valuable skill for those in a variety of majors. Career paths include beverage sales and distribution, supply chain management, beverage program management, food and beverage, tasting/taproom management, marketing (with a beverage distributor or producer), and special events.
