The online Juris Master is a 30-credit-hour master’s in law designed for non-lawyers. The program, which can be completed part-time, is intended for graduates and professionals whose careers intersect with the law but who do not plan on becoming attorneys. The career-focused curriculum prepares professionals to better understand the compliance issues of their work and to understand, identify, and effectively strategize for potential legal and regulatory hazards. As a student in the program, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the law and regulations affecting heavily regulated industries. You’ll also learn how to implement intelligent risk management programs and determine when legal counsel is needed. Based on your specific career goals, you can choose one of five concentrations:
