The online master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) is designed for current educators who are committed to improving their instructional effectiveness and becoming teacher leaders. You'll learn ways of addressing the needs of the diverse students you serve and gain a better understanding of the dynamic policy environment represented by new, local, and state standards as well as the research-based instructional approaches and supports available to teachers in the 21st century. You'll use your teaching context as a site for exploring the ideas, techniques, technology, and approaches introduced in the program and for determining effectiveness at the local level. You'll take core courses in curriculum and instruction, as well as courses in one of the majors below.

The Curriculum & Instruction program is one of seven FSU online master’s in education programs ranked No. 28 among public institutions, No. 30 among all institutions, and No. 16 in the nation for veterans by U.S. News & World Report in 2024.
