Assessment & Testing Facility

The Assessment & Testing facility provides test proctoring services for FSU course exams on campus and coordinates proctor services for FSU distance learning students. The facility also proctors academic department exams; state and national exams including CLEP, TEAS and TOEFL; as well as distance learning exams for students from other universities.

Scheduling Proctored Exams

Students that are required to take proctored exams can be students in online classes who do not meet with the instructor in a formal classroom setting, or in large face to face classrooms where secure testing is problematic. Assessment & Testing also coordinates proctoring services for FSU students who need to take proctored exams off-site. We provide secure transfer of exam materials to proctors outside of our facility

To schedule exams with our office please complete a Request for Services form and return to our main office. Each semester we will have a deadline to receive all requests for the following semester, usually three weeks before the end of the current semester. After this deadline, instructors can still schedule exams with our office but may have limited availability. No exam dates and times are official until both the instructor and Assessment/Testing staff have signed Assessment and Testing Agreement. The Assessment and Testing Agreement is only binding for the duration of the specified semester and must be renewed every semester.
