The Assessment & Testing facility provides test proctoring services for FSU course exams on campus and coordinates proctor services for FSU distance learning students. The facility also proctors academic department exams; state and national exams including CLEP, TEAS, and TOEFL, as well as distance learning exams for students from other universities.

Scheduling Proctored Exams

Students who are required to take proctored exams can be students in online classes who do not meet with the instructor in a formal classroom setting or in large, face-to-face classrooms where secure testing is problematic. Assessment & Testing also coordinates proctoring services for FSU students who need to take proctored exams off-site. We provide secure transfer of exam materials to proctors outside of our facility.

Instructors must use the Testing Center Request for Services application to request exam services. See our Canvas Support Center article for detailed instructions. The window for requesting exams for the Spring 2019 term will open on November 26. The deadline for scheduling services is December 14. The testing schedule will accommodate exam requests until the spaces are full, so accommodation of late requests will depend on availability.
